However, immediately afterwards and for the next 1.5 years (in NY our riding season is short) I had endless breakdowns and issues with my battery draining. After trying and testing everything else, because I thought "it's new, it can't be the issue", I determined and confirmed this was manufactured with an internal short that was continuously draining my battery. Finally isolated it to the main unit, not the turn signal circuits. But it took so long to identify the issue that the warranty is long over.Just replaced it with another brand name and BAM, the issue is gone. Battery is working great again and no more jump starting my bike when I'm out and about.To me this indicates that the company has POOR quality control.
