It’s more expensive at Walmart and at Smith’s - and I checked. **Q: Is this spicy as in hot?** A: It is not very spicy as in hot peppers. It is very tangy and spicy as in flavorful. The price is fair $1.87 these were .75 a couple years ago but for now that’s not a bad price. If you need a shelf stable option for sausage fry Old Wisconsin brand Beef Sausage for $5.79 it doesn’t need refrigerated unless it’s opened and unused. Otherwise it’s safe to keep until needed. You can prep this in your thermos, add the cut up sausage seal it and have a ready meal in a few hours.
