Once open the liner lock worked well on the 1st one. The 2nd one the lock did not function! Ascrew driver and ten seconds prying the lock mech loose solveed the problem but does not speak well for the attention to detail. So far it has held it' edge very well - opening boxes and other small chores. I think it is a great value for the price. After 2 months of EDC - I am impressed with every aspect of this knife. I do wonder about the add saying 'made in Japan" and no mention of the hardness of the steel in the add. It is clearly made in China and the steel is 3CR13. It is not a high quality steel but is easy to sharpen. I misplaced this knife for 3 days (It was in my jacket) and I felt that my other EDCs were not up to this little wonder. I have made one modification. Because it is so small I put a 1" split ring (like you might use for your keys) in the lanyard hole at the bottom of the handle. Now I slip my pinky into the ring and the knife feels much more secure. Review: High quality - Nice quality and great price. Would prefer a little larger version of same knife. Very sharp and easy to use. ## Features - Versatile EDC Pocket Knife – A folding pocket knife for opening packages, cutting rope and everyday tasks; a reliable everyday carry tool. - Compact and Portable – Folds to fit a pocket or bag for hiking, camping, fishing, gardening and travel. - Outdoor Ready – Lightweight with a secure locking mechanism for camping, hunting and picnics. - Durable Build, Easy Care – Sturdy stainless steel blade and beech wood handle; simple hand-wash care, keep dry to protect the edge. - Cuchillo Plegable de Bolsillo – Cuchillo EDC compacto para camping, pesca, caza y excursiones, hoja de acero inoxidable de 2.55 in. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DQY327SM | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #50,511 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #98 in Camping Folding Knives | | Blade Length | 2.56 inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Drop Point | | Blade Type | Folding | | Brand | Matsato | | Brand Name | Matsato | | Color | Brown | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 756 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Beechwood | | Included Components | Pocket Knife | | Item Length | 8.9 inches | | Item Shape | Rectangular (closed), Linear (open) | | Item Weight | 72.5 g | | Manufacturer | Matsato | | Model Name | Matsato Pocket Knife | | Model Number | Matsato | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | Matsato | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 2.6" | | Special Feature | Foldable, Lightweight, Pocket Knife | | Special Features | Foldable, Lightweight, Pocket Knife | | Style | Classic | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Matsato - **Color:** Brown - **Handle Material:** Beechwood - **Included Components:** Pocket Knife - **Model Name:** Matsato Pocket Knife - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Camping, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting - **Special Feature:** Foldable, Lightweight, Pocket Knife - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![Folding Pocket Knife Small Pocket Knifes for Men & Women - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71XaWMC11hL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy open. great every day carry, less than 3" blade. *by B***O on October 27, 2025* Handy, light weight, and if you do not have strong fingernails that is not problem.
