HP Envy 5541 All-in-One Wireless Printer

The printer looked great when it arrived and was very easy to set up. However, there were problems after only a couple of days, It began to put out a blank sheet between pages and then constantly declared a paper jam when none was present. Re-set it and tried different paper to no avail. Now have all the hassle of re-packaging and returning it - also no way to get hold of the seller as the phone number listed is obsolete.

Very pleased. Produces good quality prints. Wastes less ink than my previous HP printer.Delivery on 3 March ahead of delivery date of 8 March.

Just bought this printer from ebay for £59 half price as my Epsom died on me after changing cartridges. This one is so easy to set up. Just load the cartridges supplied, follow the touch screen prompts and bingo you're quids in. WIFI comes on and stays on! I held my breath to see if it was compatible with my Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard and sadly it isn't (Mountain Lion and Vista minimum). However I discovered a hidden little gem which allows you to print directly from your smartphone which is even better! Just either scan the barcode on the HP site from the instructions provided and download the HP All In One printer app, or go to the Android Play Store and download it there and within minutes you will be printing and scanning documents from your smartphone or tablet, I kid you not.Another great feature is the extension on the paper tray which collects your prints and stops them falling on the floor. It also does two sided prints, although only one side. I can't yet configure to print both sides on one page which is ideal, so any advise is welcome! However I am so impressed with the versatility of this device I wondered why I hadn't taken the quantum leap before and bypassed the laptop altogether. Photocopying is also seamless and smooth, although I haven't tried photo printing yet as it's not a feature I care for, postcard photo paper is supplied. This HP Envy 5541 model also looks stunning in black and white and has a very professional build quality and aesthetics about it. Dare I say it even enhances my dining room where it sits on my sideboard! I would highly recommend it if casual home printing is what you want, it's an absolute bargain and is also very quiet.
