Be VERY careful to press it against both edges and not move it. It's not that hard to do. And before you drill a hole in a handle that takes two screws, put a screw in both holes make certain that the center of each matches EXACTLY with the spacing of the template holes. If you do these things, you'll have a great result. Flip it side to side to drill opposing doors without changing the template. Likewise flip vertically to switch between upper and lower cabinets.
