Confusing product details but worked for me. It states in one part it doesn't work for TSR 2 pin and TSSR 4 pin. I have an external TSR 2 pin mic. However, in another part it states it does. If you have USB C you'll need a usb c to female jack and then plug in this adapter to the usb C adapter and attach the mic. The other thing is the mic only be works if the USB C to phone is plugged a particular way up. Also your app should support external mic audio e.g. open app which must be enabled.
