This one is solid and is exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it in the first place back in October. It appears that the keyboard that was purchased in October was a defective one and VANKY has corrected the defective item with one that is what I was looking for in the first place. I believe that upgrading the star rating to 4 stars is warranted. The first item was defective but was replaced with a nice working, stable keyboard. Thank you for replacing the keyboard.***UPDATE - 10/31/2018***The company reached out to me to make things right. I appreciate the effort to correct the wrong. It shows that the company cares about their product and how their consumers view it. I was assured that they are working on a solution to the "wobble" and the design will get better. If the design is resolved and fixed, I would love to offer a better review of that product when it's released. As I said, it's close but not quite ready for the professional that is looking for a solution to be able to use an iPad more as a notebook.***END OF UPDATE***The keyboard case was perfect out of the box. It took it only a week to 10 days and the side that the iPad is nested in started to "wobble." I have looked for ways to tighten it up but have not been successful. I am not pleased with the product because of the "wobble" and have moved on to another solution for this. The battery life of the keyboard has been excellent and of course, it's easy to use but the durability, I would rate as 2 stars because it just doesn't seem like a structurally sound device. Overall, I have to give it a 2-star rating for the aesthetics and the "wobble." It was purchased to replace a keyboard by another manufacturer in which the hinge failed after a year. The design of the VANKY has a center hinge, it swivels and rotates 180. The keys are backlit and have a good feel and travel distance, function keys/shortcuts make it very easy to access features. Functions as well as my MacBook Pro but on smaller scale for meetings and travel situations. Only "negative" is that it shows finger prints on the outer case, otherwise great so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Standing behind their product. *by G***0 on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2019* I like this keyboard and display. It’s compact, lightweight, the battery has yet to die on me and I barely recharge it, maybe once every month or two. The back lighted keyboard is cool, and I’ve used it on occasion such as when traveling overseas on a bus at night and didn’t want to disturb other passengers with a monster light turned on from the overhead display. The only keyboard hassle is the right shift key isn’t where it’s supposed to be, that’s the ^ key instead, and shift key is to its right. So I make a few typos.When it was six months old the keyboard died suddenly. Just before I left for work it was fine, and I came home that night and it was dead and not to be revived no matter what. The company stood behind the product, no hassles, and I had a new one shipped out to me, gratis, within days. Such is the reality of electronics - they can last a long time or die pretty quickly when some defective chip decides to fry itself.
