I use it to carry tools and a larger knife that tucks into the back outside my pocket. Being a kukri-style knife, I did have to use a little tape and add a snap, but it conceals it well and curves with the bag. I have used this bag for about two years and it has held up very well, I'm usually pretty rough with my stuff so when something last more than a year I'm surprised.
