Pleased I got the saw with a screwed down filter / engine cover , instead of the orange clips which are perfectly ok on the the small Huskies which I also have but not on this beast . Well now to the saw , make sure the break is on before starting and follow instructions for starting and you should have no problems , also the Huskies like to warm up before use . Don't take any notice about the performance of these saws , they cut effortlessly all day . They are like a high a powered motorbike and even sound like it , they really make easy work of any task you can give them I would definitely buy another one but I don't think I will be doing that for along time . I found mine not to be to heavy I suppose it's down to the individual and how strong they are , there really is only 1 or 2 other saws out there that can match the Husqvarna I suppose that again, this is down to choice . I’ve probably cut almost 100 face cord and cut the majority of the trees down with this chainsaw as well. Some differences between these saws and the professional saws are power and kickback. **Q: What is the differrnce between $419.00 and the $409.00** A: When I just looked, it's 419 and 439, with the more expensive one being an 18" bar and the less expensive being the 20" bar. Weird. Or did you just want to know what 419-409=? **Q: how much oil do you mix to a gallon of gas** A: I used this brand - Husqvarna 610000155 50:1 XP 2-Cycle Oil 1-Gallon Mix, 2.6-Ounce. Put one 2.6 oz bottle of oil to 1 gallon of gasoline. So you should have a separate gas container for your mixed gas/oil to use. You con't have to buy Husqvarna brand but it should be 2-Cycle Oil for chain saws or weed eaters. **Q: can you put a 24 inch bar on it** A: I own this saw and run a 24" bar. I use it to cut 5 cords of firewood each summer.
