Review: More than just instrument, healing tool. - Excellent tool for autistic, trauma recovery. Vibrations durring and after play leaving pleasant and calming effect. Review: Beautiful sound but tuned in F# (important if you plan to play with other musicians) - Beautiful sound!!! 5star - no doubt. BUT, this particular one is "tuned" to F# which makes it tricky to play with other musicians. And more often I have to put it aside and pick up a cheap, souvenir option because it is "tuned" in C which is a bit more universal if I can say so. Size is probably a bit small but not annoyingly small and the case is handy and gorgeous. Still have not decided if I want to return it or keep it. I may buy another one of the same in a hope that it might be "tuned" differently ## Features - 🎵 Indulge yourself with a unique musical instrument: our ’s harp is an exceptional instrument, handcrafted by the famous harp master Pavel Potkin in the Altai Mountains, Russia that is considered the home of the finest jaw harps! - 🎵 Discover endless new sounds: the khomus Jews harp is specifically designed to produce clear and crisp sounds! Unfortunately all the jaw harps on Amazon neglect to list the key of the instrument. I purchased one in A on a different site because I needed to know it would be in the right key. The way you shape your mouth just alters the overtone resonance, while the fundamental drone pitch is always the same. Sellers here on Amazon should just check the fundamental pitch and list it so that serious buyers can consider purchasing. **Q: What key is it in?** A: The jaw harp isn't in any specific key. The tone generated is entirely dependent on the size and shape of the player's mouth cavity. Tone variation is created by working the jaw and moving the tongue to resize the resonance chamber inside one's mouth. **Q: Is this lead/heavy metal free? I'm shopping for kids. Thanks!** A: I’m not actually sure. I know that it is designed to be on your mouth. My husband loves to play this daily. It is easy to use and sturdy. It is well made and I believe it could hold up to kids depending on their age of course. **Q: It is referred in our description as both a "jew harp" and "jaw harp" is it a typo or is it an ethnical derived instrument>? read 1st description.** A: This isnstrument has over 800 names accross the world lol. Jaw harp, mouth harp, Jews harp, Bounce harp, Guimbard, and many others just in America. Haha ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More than just instrument, healing tool. *by D***N on 7 January 2026* Excellent tool for autistic, trauma recovery.
