Now that I have tried it, I am sold! I completely understand why it is popular; it is super delicious and versatile. The flavor is similar to a teriyaki sauce, but not overly sweet and with great umami flavor. It was excellent with some crispy chicken and rice, but it's truly one of those sauces that would be great on almost anything.The Hella Hot version is excellent too! If you're sensitive to spice I would say to stick with the Original, but I do like things spicy, and the Hella Hot did not disappoint. It has the same flavor profile as the Original, but with a nice kick to it. I definitely would not describe the heat level as extreme, (even sriracha is hotter than this for sure) but it has good amount of heat that most spice eaters should enjoy.Both bottles came sealed for safety and quality, and the flip top caps don't seem to be particularly messy or difficult to dispense the sauces.I can get these sauces locally for about $8 a bottle, so this two pack is definitely priced on the higher side ($23.98 with a 10% coupon at the time of this review).
