If there are any complaints about it, I wish there was more handle/support percentage. When hand holding it, my first inclination is to momentarily treat it like a light saber. This is where it feels a bit flimsy. Tightening down the adjustment grip doesn't really do much. Granted. This light fits that criteria nicely, and much cheaper than the lights make specifically for this purpose.Be aware that this light is not "heavy duty" and I imagine if you were to drop it from any notable height it would crack the light or plastic handle. However, with care it should not pose any issue for normal use.The tripod is also light duty and works fine at most positions, but when it is extended to its maximum height it becomes unstable. Note that the light attaches to the tripod with a bolt on the light handle that clamps onto a shaft on the tripod, NOT with a standard 1/4-20 female thread on the light handle.
