It seems to be impervious to UV degradation as my system has baked in the deep south summer sun for two growing seasons now with no sign of deterioration and still looks like new. I love the gardena system...paired with a water timer it works wonders for the plants during the brutal summers here. I do take down the system and put in storage for the winter since I don't know how the tubing would tolerate freezing temperatures. This particular supply tubing was purchased in preparation of adding some new supply lines next spring. What happens to all the little nozzles, sprinklers, etc?** A: I've left the tubing and drip nozzles outside over the winter (Northern Virginia) without any ill effects. The big thing here is that they MUST be completely dry inside as it is the ice formation that will damage the product. I either drip dry or blow out the tubing depending on location/configuration.
