As you can see in the last photo, I replaced one hook with a Magpul QD swivel. I took one star off as all shell loops are too big for 12G shells. Slightly shake would cause a few shells to drop out. Whoever designed this sling never saw 12 gauge shot shells. I don't have a sewing machine so I had to take out needles and strings to hand sew additional stitches to narrow each loop. The new stitches remove ~1/4" from each loop. Now all shells fit in firmly. See pic #1, 2.If you are willing to modify it, then this is a good sling for your shotgun.
