The directions suggest that there might be a tingling, but I haven't experienced it. My skin is fairly sensitive but I have left it on for half an hour and then washed it off because it felt as if it had stopped working. My skin is a little softer but I wonder if I used an exfoliator for longer I'd get a similar experience. Feeling rather cheated, to be honest.
