I love the fact that you can dim the light or make if flicker like a candle that's why I said it's beautiful and practical because it uses batteries and in my hallway there is no plug so this takes care of both for me. even though there is a light in the hall way this lamp makes it look very nice. it even makes my 40 year old chest come to life. I did have to call because the remote stop working and I can say that customer service was great. send me out a new remote and bulb no problem. and I love when you get a great product with great customer service.
