## Description

If you buy this you can make your own kombucha indefinitely! If kept in the right conditions this SCOBY can last forever. All of our products are made by local women from Dhanotu village in Peepal Farm’s solar-powered kitchen. All profits go towards running our stray animal rescue and social enterprise! How to Brew: Step 1-To make your own batch of kombucha, you first need to make a tea base. For this, Bring 2 liters of water to a boil with 45 gms of sugar and 15 gms of tea. Step 2-Let the blend cool down to room temperature and then remove the tea. Now add our starter tea to the mix so that some unfriendly bacteria won’t affect your kombucha in the first few days of fermentation. Step 3-Now pour the mixture into a sterilized glass jar and slip your SCOBY in it with clean hands and cover its mouth with a lid. Step 4-Keep the jar out of direct sunlight and let it ferment for 7 to 10 days. Also, do keep a check on the kombucha and SCOBY periodically. Step 5-After 7 days, start tasting your kombucha by pouring out a little and check for a balance of sweetness and tartness. Step 6-When you find the taste pleasant, take out some starter tea and SCOBY for your next batch of kombucha with clean hands. Now bottle the finished kombucha and refrigerate it for later use.
