The first couple of times I tried to put one in my hair, I made a bit of a pig's ear of it! However, when I realized that the internal metal strip had a memory, I was ready for when I started to bend the ends around to join them together, (after winding my hair around them) that they would snatch out of my hands to form a circle.In my opinion, as long as you hold on to the ends firmly and marry them up slowly, you will have more control over the resulting style.Once in, they hold the style really well and are also very comfortable. I know that my hair looks good (quite professional actually) and it looks as though I put a lot of time and effort in .....win/win.To get six bun makers in the set is also a bonus though, maybe, just to be awkward, it would be nice to choose the colours? Just a minor niggle really because you don't see much of the bun maker (if at all) when it is in place.I highly recommend these to parties that are interested.
