Well, it looks like that hope was unfounded. I purchased this distiller in Feb of 2019. By Aug 2019, the lid that seals the tapwater has deformed from heat ( I imagine ) so much that the machine now leaks about 1/2 cup of water all over the counter each time I use it. Contacting the manufacturer did me no good as well. They ignored my attempts to contact them and as they are not a US based company, it makes it difficult to get any resolution. Still, for the short time it worked, it worked well. Just wish it would have lasted longer than 6months. ### ⭐ Manufacture Co says Defective Design *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2019* This is a defective design and manufacturer even has a message posted on their website indicating so.
