There was a short few day break in period but started producing gunk almost immediately. Now I am cleaning it every week and its pulling out a lot of waste. The bubble action is stellar. This thing is quiet! You'll have no idea its on unless your looking. Thank you Sicce!It does seem to have to warm up again after being turned off to clean or whatever. Once turned on again the water level and foam action seems to stay lower in the column but comes back fairly quickly.Replaced a Coralife 65 Super Skimmer hangon and although that one was 5 years old there is no comparison. This is very simple to put together, and the construction is very good in my opinion.
