It was in essentially a thick plastic bag that was torn open in three places... Easy installation. The entire tow hitch sits 1” lower than the mufflers, be careful when backing into a parking spot. Word of warning: the instructions were not very clear about how to attach the bolt to the fishing wire, and run the bolt through the frame; had to consult YouTube. DO NOT damage the fishing wire’s coiled end to thread the bolt into, it makes installation 1000% more difficult.
