I did so to accommodate an orthotic. **Q: Are the ones that are smooth made out of real leather?** A: Yes they are real leather. Very comfortable! **Q: Why are they labeled classic leather, when under description It says all man made ? This is foul** A: I agree with you. I was looking for the 100% genuine leather and they are over $80 on the Reebok website.
