The Thermopylae was an extreme composite clipper ship built in 1868 by Walter Hood & Co of Aberdeen to the design of Bernard Weymouth of London for the White Star Line of Aberdeen. This is a scale reproduction of the famous British tea clipper that seriously challenged the beauty and speed of the Cutty Sark in the great tea races of the mid 1800s. A plank on frame construction, the kit contains building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, laser etched details, rigging cord and silk flag. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy. Scale 1:124 Length 575mm

**Q: What is the averall sizes**
A: Model not finished yet but going by the scale drawings, the hull is 46cm long,56cm if you include the bowsprit. The height is 36cm from top of main mast to the keel. Hope this is helpful.

Very poor instructions and to add insult to injury they are all in Italian, if you sell to English speaking country's include instructions that people can read, I would expect to be able to read them properly without having to learn another language first, for £110 Very disappointed..
