When I'm traveling and want to keep a safe copy of photos, I keep one of these in the side pocket of my jeans in a thin zipper plastic bag. (The bag keeps out dust and also makes it hard to accidentally lose the drive.) But the plastic piece that slides along the side of the drive -- to open either the USB-A or USB-C connector -- has broken on two different drives while in my pocket.
