I'm after a converter to go from 43mm to 40mm** A: No I don't think so. You will need a euro connector which takes 1.5" to 40mm. In the end the plan was shelved so we had to cap off the pipe. The plumber (being a tradesman) had used solvent weld pipe, which is (at 43mm) slightly too wide to fit into traditional 'push fit' fittings, so we ordered this to do the job and it worked fine.
