I brought in the product itself and had him look at it with his own two eyes. He said that anything that goes on the gum line like that on a regular basis is not good for the gums and the teeth. This is great for occasional use but somebody like me dealing with dry mouth for medication is not their ideal customer. The dentist was able to prescribe me something that helps saliva production. Throwing that out there in case anybody else has the same issue as I do. I felt obligated to write this after getting back from the dentist. I was hesitant after trying some other dry mouth products that were basically sugar-free candy as to the effectiveness of this product but I was pleasantly surprised. These work - and quickly. Easy to use - just stick it in your mouth on your gums or in your cheek and the saliva begins to flow immediately. They are small, comfortable in your mouth and a great price for the quantity. The flavor is great too. I'm not a huge fan of mint so having this berry flavor was a nice option. I take medication that changes the pH level in my mouth and recently discovered cavaties as a result. I haven't used any other products quite like this so I'm giving it 4 stars until I can compare it to something else. I'm completely satisfied.
