## Overview

The 1045 Katana from the Classic Tsuba Series is a hand-forged, full tang Japanese sword featuring a 29-inch heat-tempered 1045 carbon steel blade. Designed for martial arts enthusiasts and collectors alike, it boasts a black iron bamboo-themed tsuba, a white rayskin handle wrapped in black cotton ito, and a lacquered wooden saya. This battle-ready katana combines traditional craftsmanship with modern durability, delivered with protective accessories for immediate use or display.

## Description

The classic 1045 katana family brings together our long-running hand-forged line: blades of 1045 carbon steel, heat-tempered for a visible wavy temper line and finished for dojo practice. Each katana is set apart by its themed iron tsuba and saya finish - dragons, cranes, warriors, temples and more - while sharing the same full tang construction, rayskin-and-ito wrapped handle, and bamboo mekugi pegs. Every sword ships with its saya, a protective sword bag, and a packaging tube.

## Features

- 【Bamboo Katana】 The Bamboo Katana is a hand forged, full tang Japanese katana built on a 29-inch blade of 1045 Carbon Steel, balanced for a two-handed grip at 41 inches overall.
- 【Hand-Tempered Blade & Edge】 The blade is heat-tempered to draw out a soft wavy temper line along the functional edge, then finished to an edge suited to dojo practice. The blade keeps a solid, full-bodied cross-section.
- 【Tsuba & Rayskin Handle】 The mounting is led by a black iron tsuba carved with bamboo stalks and leaves, set off by brass seppa, while the handle is wood over white rayskin (samegawa), wrapped in black cotton ito with menuki and a brass habaki.
- 【Full Tang & Specifications】 The full tang is secured with bamboo mekugi, and the blade rests in a glossy black lacquered wood saya with a black sageo; blade 29 in, handle 10.85 in, overall 41 in.
- 【What's in the Box】 In the box you receive the katana, its black saya (scabbard), a protective sword bag, and a packaging tube; a display stand is not included.
