After just a few months of limited use the battery just suddenly bricked. The laptop refuses to acknowledge the batteries existence. It’s likely a simple chip issue or a bad solder joint. Just to be clear I’ve had the battery for a while, it didn’t just go out on me now. This was a year or two ago. I’m just sitting through my reviews after time has passed to give products progress reports.**@@::This was my original review::@@**I am beyond pleased with this replacement battery for my laptop! (Dell Latitude E6520)The new battery clicked right into the slot just as well as the factory OEM battery that I received with my Laptop. I use my laptop mainly for recording/writing music. Doing so is power demanding (CPU, recording interface, MIDI devices) you get the idea. Even with all the aforementioned tools being used, I am still able to log about four-four and a half hours of non stop use in between charges! Compared to the 45 minutes tops I was getting before with the stock fading battery.Tl;Dr: Battery is to exact OEM quality/specs.
