Each set shows a different story and you can use them in multiple ways. I started out by modeling one card and then giving them a set of six to put in order and write questions about. They swapped sets with other students and asked and answered questions. I used them several different mornings and my students were engaged and seemed to enjoy what they were learning. There was enough variety for my class size. I definitely thought they were worth the money because I'll be using them again and again and they are well made.
