I am currently out of the country and the quality is wonderful. Crisp sounds and it has a wonderful picture even if it is not HDMI. The set up is actually pretty basic which is wonderful for me. Don't have to read the instructions. Just like anything now and days just follow the cords and the plug ins, instant success. Well, I will see how it goes, but, me and my comrades are pretty impressed with the quality. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Busted garbage *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2011* When I got it and hooked up all the satelites to the back of the subwoofer, the center channel did not operate. All speakers worked in all other channels, unless they were in the center channel.If you're expecting to use this as just a surround system and not with the dvd player on, then good luck. There are two switches in the back. One is I/O switch, and the other is to switch between sound through TV or what is playing in the DVD player. If you chose TV then you have no volume control over the speakers. There is no volume knob on the subwoofer. You either have a choice of really loud, or off.If you're still buying it, I warned you. FYI, you need one extra A/V cable, or at least one with audio RCA jacks.I do not recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not amazing.. *by A***K on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2012* For the price, it's a decent system. However, it drives me crazy. I bought this for my bedroom. Every time you turn it on the sound resets to 8. Which is actually really really loud! I watch this on 1 when I'm in the bedroom because I'm usually relaxing and getting ready to fall asleep. I cringe every time I forget to turn it down right away and it blares from the tv, I'm sure the neighbors can hear it. Also the sub has a bright blue light that illuminated the entire bedroom. The only way to turn off the sub and it's obnoxious light is to switch a switch on the back of the sub, not with the remote or anything!
