I am lactose intolerant and would like to buy only dairy-free mres.** A: I would guess googling which mre meals are lactoseโ€™s free. Theyโ€™re meal numbers 1-24, 1-12 being case A 13-24 case B. Some items change time to time depending on what they choose as the meals for that year. Like a couple years ago they added a pizza mre that is new. But every item in an mre has a complete ingredients list. So even if the mre isnโ€™t completely lactose free you can separate items with it and without it in each meal. **Q: Those are close to 3 years old.... Were they properly stored - or left to sit is a warehouse.. Those are "iffy" ....I want to know storage history..** A: As far as my listings personally, they are all issued to military personnel same year as sold. None of mine have a lower inspection date than 2022/11 and are kept inside an air conditioned building. As said on the description that inspected 2025 *by L***Y on 27 October 2025* Got the B case, and the meals inside are legit, and nicely it comes with a heat pack like usual, so only a few drops of water to activate that you get a warm meal, and the taste, as long as that's a meat meal, that taste just like what you expected, only the texture is a bit funny since they made these meals to last not to "enjoy" like the elitists out there showing off foods they tasted. The case was extremely hard, and they won't deform as I can say, and portion size is not bad, good enough for 170 pound me, and again the heat pack is easy to use, make sure you don't overfill it else it will lose heat.
