We switched to the Owlet monitor at 12 months because we got sick of the constant alarms. **Q: would this work with a baby in a snoo? since it rocks and vibrates the baby?** A: I dont think so as vibrations from babys heart is so small vibrations may confuse devise and you would get false alerts. I could be wrong though. May be ask Monbaby directly? **Q: the baby cannot sleep downside? and how long this battery last?** A: If you use it every night the battery will last about two weeks. My grandson is 10 months old and does not like sleeping on his back anymore. As soon as you put him down, he will roll over and sleep on his stomach. We have put the mon baby button on the back of his pajamas and then calibrated the monitor. It will still monitor his breathing and activity and is better than not having any form of monitor. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Great sensor technology but poor range and unreliable connection sadly lets this down. *by G***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2017* The sensor in this unit is excellent it picks up respiratory movements wonderfully. The software is great too. My wife remarked that the flashing blue dot on our little lads shirt made him look like a mini 'Ironman'. Multi-graphing of all the measure parameters is great. Sadly the range is dreadful, really dreadful. We tried iphone/ipad/kindle fire/misc android devices and with all of them when the device is more than 2.5 meters away from the sensor it drops the connection. We disabled wifi and bluetooth on all the other stuff in the house and turned off anything that could be causing interference. I used a wifi and bluetooth sniffer on an android phone to see if we were being bombarded by strong signals from the neighbours (we weren't). I contacted the manufacturer and they were great and had the best tech service I have ever experienced. They had a new wifi protocol where you can use an android device next to the child as a 'hub' and relay the signal over wifi. We set that up but sadly that proved unreliable as well, with connection dropping several times a night so with a heavy heart we sent it back. It would have been wonderful if the connection was more reliable. I hope that they get this sorted because if they do this will be the best baby monitor out there (but not as it stands sadly). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Provides peace of mind *by V***0 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 January 2019* I very rarely write reviews but I honestly feel this saved my 2 month old son’s life last night. The baby was feeding, I was falling asleep after getting off a plane and the baby must have snuggled in and would have suffocated but the alarm went off and woke me up and so I would recommend this product. I keep everything on when he’s in the cot and just keep the fall alert and movement detector on when he is out of the cot. It is easy to use and it does provide peace of mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great customer service *by L***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 November 2018* The battery wasn’t very good on the device I received. The first battery I had lasted a week. The second lasted just over 2 weeks. I bought some batteries and they lasted longer but still died within a month. I contacted the MonBaby company and they were amazing. They arranged for me to send my device back and replaced it with an updated version which should be better with battery. I didn’t have a fed ex near me so they arranged for the new device to come to me, and I give the fed ex delivery guy my device back. They then also sent me some brand new batteries.
