Probably not sauna since it lifts with warm water. Would I be ok to play rugby if I wrapped my arm in this** A: As a tattoo artist I would say rather not , this is good for waterproofing, dust , infection from dirty hands, over creaming , but it won’t protect you in a contact sport from damaging your skin and tattoo 😕 though it is your best choice, if you have no choice, make sure to put a little cream only on the tattoo and remove the hair on a big aria around the tattoo so it sticks well, put two or three layers of the tape on. I change mine e ery day for up to 6 or 7 days as reccomended, then after that it's just your preferred balm. **Q: Can this be used on other wounds, over stitches for example** A: I wouldn’t stick it directly on to the stitches, it might pull them out, with a sterile gauze yes, but it tends to curl on the edges, so a much bigger piece needs to be applied, or more than one piece, overlapping. Takes a bit to get off but the results were fantastic ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WAY better than cling film (for tattoos) *by M***. on 2 November 2021* Recently got a couple tattoos on my arms, I’ve previously used cling film which was always awkward, annoying, the tape would always come off, and just overall uncomfortable. This time I used this, and straight away it was a whole different mind blowing experience. It’s a little time consuming if you want to do it right, but once it’s on you can get on with your life. You can function normally as if it wasn’t even there where I found with cling film, every movement you would be reminded of how uncomfortable it was. I cannot speak for really big pieces or if it’s different with coloured tattoos, but I would presume it would still work perfectly. The only thing was when it got into contact with any kind of moisture it would tend to peel. I believe it said waterproof somewhere in the description but after a shower they most certainly have to be replaced. Also, just chilling in a warm concert hall was enough for some to start peeling, but then again I presume it would be the same for cling film if not a lot worse. Overall I highly recommend this product.
