I’ve been enjoying using these on my bench days. Review: Reliable, comfortable wrist wraps provide solid support and stability - Versa Wrapps are a great accessory to provide additional wrist support. These are wrist wraps and should not be confused with lifting straps or the Versa Gripps, which I've heard nothing but positive things about. The 12" wraps work perfectly for me, but it should be noted that I have smaller, slender wrists and do not need as much material to receive sufficient support. For those with larger wrists, who need more support, and/or who may be lifting very HEAVY weights, the longer 18" wraps are likely a better option. The wrist wraps seem to be constructed from a quality, durable material and wrap snugly around my wrists. The velcro remains secure during lifts without any slipping or loosening over multiple reps or extended use. I was concerned that they might be too bulky, but they are comfortable enough while providing stability during lifts. Although I felt a tad silly using them at first, I found them to be incredibly useful when returning to the gym after an extended hiatus following a MVA. The additional reinforcement helps my wrists feel more "solid" so that I can push more without as much concern regarding fatigue. I do have some concerns about the durability of the thumb loops, which are fairly thin pieces of elastic, but only time will tell how well they hold up. I use Versa Grips all the time though, so I wanted to give these a try. The difference between using these vs not isn't going to suddenly increase your lifts, but I do feel like they help stabilize my lifts enough that I'd prefer to use these over not. Especially on my incline dumbbell bench press, these just seem to add a little more pressure/stability to my wrists. If it matters to anyone reading the review, I flat bench 55lb dumbbells for 9 reps. My bench is around 170 for 3 reps right now. Certainly still learning but I at least have a little experience. Other than pressing motions, these were also nice for barbell skull crushers. I'm not really sure if the wrist movement mattered or if just eliminating it allowed me to focus more on elbow form, but I'd recommend giving them a try for tricep work too. In terms of comfort, these are great. I don't feel any chafing even when wearing these for 40+ minutes on a press session. I think for what these are advertised as, they work great. If you don't already have a set of Versa Grips, absolutely get those first. Those are an absolute game changer. If you already have some and just want a little extra stability on certain lifts, these are a great option. Similar to the grips, I'm sure you can find more affordable options out there, but these are very well made, made in the USA, and support a company who cares about lifters and the community. They also have a much better warranty. Photos are the size 12.
