The smell is faint but is not a bad smell. I only use around 3 pumps for my whole face and neck and I still have a lot left in the bottle after using this for around 4 weeks, once a day at night. The packaging had slightly leaked but it was very little and the bubble wrap had stopped the liquid from going everywhere. Over all this product is amazing and for the price to. If I'm being really picky though I would say I prefer the packaging on the amazon picture rather then the one I received as before it was bright and bold but now is quite minimalist which may be others style but not mine but its just packaging.
