The lid on this has an integrated valve, which helps to ‘vacuum seal’ the lunch box, making it leakproof, this does however make it a little tricky to remove, so I perhaps wouldn’t recommend it for younger children. It is very hygienic, easy to clean, and does not get ‘tainted’ by stronger smelling foods, nor impart any taste to food stored within it.
