There's a bar attached on one side which can be removed so there's such a option. **Q: Please can you tell me if they are bulky when flat packed? We need to transport so need to know specs' re volume before erecting.** A: Hello the dimensions when this is packed up is 2.00m x 0.66m x 0.20m. **Q: How high are the tower sides, is it 2x 2m? An how high can the platform be placed?** A: There are two parts on each sides. Altogether the tower is 4m high, however it's not the height you can put the platform on. Overall you should be able to reach easily 5m (I'm 1.92m). **Q: What is the maximum height the platform can go on the 4m tower?** A: Haven't measured that precisely but it's definitely 2.5m-2.8m. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What I’ve been looking for for years *by P***T on 7 January 2020* We have some very high ceilings which normal ladders are useless for when it comes to decorating. I’ve looked for scaffold towers that don’t cost an arm and a leg and which are light and compact enough to store away without taking up an inordinate amount of space - but without luck so have ended up hiring.I’m so pleased I found this lightweight tower. I wasn’t hopeful it would do the business as it was roughly 1/3 the cost of most others I’d seen but I’m delighted with it.0. It was delivered quickly1. I was able to lift the package with one hand (and I’m well into my 70’s) to bring it into the house2. It was easy to put together with good quality components and fixings3. It’s the perfect height4. It’s sturdy enough (and I’m no lightweight)5. It only took 20 minutes to take it down and store it6. Didn’t take up much space in my workshop7. I’d read that others use it for trimming tall trees.
