This thing was only around $30 and change... and it was delivered in 2 days. I was using it to manually write on/grade electronically submitted assignments over the weekend - and TL;DR this did just fine. The amount of stuff surprised me. Some neat key points:* Drivers are included on built-in, read-only flash drive* Newer drivers available on 10moons website but are not necessary because this is essentially emulating a mouse* Does not have eraser built into pen, but +/- button on pen defaults to ctrl-z which is undo in Windows.* Performs equally well across the three major platforms, though there is NO software for defining pressure gradients and button shortcuts in Linux.* Pen nibs are super-small and easy to loose, pic on item does not truly represent size (see my pic)* Comes with extras: plastic protector for pad, carrying case, extra nibs, braided nylon USB cable, very well packaged* Not the most accurate tablet out there, but good for beginners* Worked well when using it in MSWord to draw (2016, PC), Inkscape on all platforms, MS Paint and really any other program like MSPaint.* Can be used in CAD programs, but with some patience.* the addition of all the shortcut buttons and the bezel surrounding it make it a little bulky, but as it is NOT a touch-tablet, you can put your mouse on top of it and use it as a solid mousepad without any problems at all. That clear plastic protector improves mouse tracking too.Some things to look out for:* the nibs are super-small and need to be placed in the pen holder which comes apart in the middle. That's where you store the nib remover too.* remember to put on the protective plastic cover... it separates the pen from the surface by just a hair, but it seems to improve tracking when you do.* the built-in read-only flash drive that stores the drivers is seen as a removable USB cdrom by the BIOS, which means that if left plugged in to a computer could cause the computer to try and boot off of it (and fail). Change BIOS to not first boot from USB to get past the issue. I had that issue and can confirm the workaround.* the pen can be replaced, but by another pen for another tablet that is worth as much as this entire tablet package put together...* Requires a powered USB port, doesn't do very well on a hub... even a powered one. Will eventually start connecting/disconnecting.* shortcut buttons are only programmable in the Windows/Mac software, and the settings do not get stored on the device but locally on the machine.* forget installing that other odd drawing software that is supposedly free & comes with it. It is apparently just a trial version anyway, and it's not nearly as good as Inkscape which is free.* the 10moons website has some troubleshooting steps for stuck pressure sensor issues - which I didn't have.All-in-all, you get quite a lot for your money... and because I'm not using this for ultra-detailed drawings, I'm in a good place. I expect that it will eventually die on me in about a year... but until then I feel like I got a good deal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellant *by M***E on August 28, 2018* Really great product. The pen feels GREAT. It is really well balanced with an appropriate shape and size. FYI - This is too advanced for GIMP or old PS7. I'll try with PS CS3 if my brother still has it, and update review if he does. I tried in MS Paint - levels not really maximized, but it works. This really is a great product if it suits your needs. (I did not receive any compensation for this review.
