Review: Awesome METAL shop vac! - Why is no one calling it out that this thing is metal? I did not want a plastic shop vac. This thing is super light aluminum however I have knocked it over a couple times with no damage. Suction is awesome there is even a little spring loaded, suck-o-meter?, not sure the proper name. I used this to suck up all the dead bugs, sawdust and screws etc from my shop floor. When I clogged it with leaves and other mess I knew I had lost suction because of that nifty little suck meter thing. I only had to take my attachment off and clear the obstruction and my little meter was back in the green. Also the filter on this thing is HUGE! Massive surface area so even with all my wood and concrete dust I did not clog it. On that same thread, not a spec of dust came out the other side of the vacuum. The exhaust was clean and somehow free of any fine concrete or wood dust. 10/10 happy with this thing. Also, it comes with a metric ton of attachments.
Review: When Jesus returns, this is what he's gonna use to vacuum up the black, hardened soul of my ex wife. - This is probably the greatest Wet/Dry Vac to exist. It's sleek, lightweight, and has lots of little connectors and do-dads. You gotta mess around and figure out which connector piece fits with which thing though, they could put that in the instructions booklet. However if you played one of those "Match the Shapes" games as an infant, you should be able to figure it out. The sucking power is so great, that my now ex wife became consumed with jealousy. She knew that she was no match for Sheila. As if some guardian angel called out to me. I bolted upright at 2 AM. There I saw a figure in the dark standing over my dear Sheila, and I saw the glint of steel in the pale moonlight. I watched in horror, as I saw the hammer come crashing down with a rage. that no mere mortal should witness. BUT to my surprise, I heard a faint "Crack" and heard a yelp. My WIFE turned the lights on , revealing her true nature. She threw out her back, and with it, any morsel of humanity that was left in her heart. So here I am in a cold empty house, but it sure is, clean as hell.

**Q: Is This Vacuum really have just 1.43 hp? 11 amp=1.43 hp**
A: According to the listing for this same model on the Bissell website, it is indeed 11 amps.  I am not sure how you are getting 1.43 HP though, if you are considering 120 volts in your calculation, assuming this is for a single-phase AC motor at 100% efficiency, and a power factor of 1.0.  The basic formula is: amps x volts = watts; and, 1 HP = 746 watts.  Hence, (11 amps)(120 volts)=1320 watts; yielding 1.77 HP.  1.43 HP would have to yield 8.89 amps at 120 volts or 11 amps at 97 volts.  That being said, you can't have more than 2.4 HP on a 15 amp circuit or 3.2 HP on a 20 amp circuit without blowing the fuse for said circuits.  Any shop vac advertising more than this should have stated "Peak HP," which, to my understanding, just means for a very small fraction of a millisecond after you turn the vac on, it is at its peak HP.  For example, a 6.5 HP vacuum is 40 amps which would blow any normal household circuit.  That 6.5 HP only happens for a split second after you turn the machine on, otherwise you would need a special circuit to use it.  I'm of the opinion that it is not about simple, mechanical HP but AHP (air horsepower), a calculation used in air handling.  This would be a more accurate reading for how well a vacuum sucks (no pun intended).  They should be giving us air velocity specs at the inlet of the canisters instead of mechanical HP of the motor which is not necessarily a good indication of suction power; especially, if they are stating the so-called "Peak HP."

**Q: @Manufacturer: Some reviews said it didnt have the hose and attachments in the box, will the hose be in the box if I order this?**
A: The hose and attachments were shipped inside the actual vacum, inside the box

A: I’m impressed with the quality!  it comes with a filter but i don’t know about a hepa filter.  It is sturdy and has well-fitting attachments. I love that it doesn’t hurt my ears or constantly flip over like so many shop vacs

**Q: can we plug it in to the car lighter?**
A: No it is 120 volt not 12 volt.
Unless you have a very strong power invertor and even at that I would not recommend it.

This little vacuum is awesome it has so many functions and attachments it has a lot of suction, holds a lot of dirt and storage is awesome it doesn't take up a lot of room. It can be moved around extremely easy it's light, and it's honestly not that loud.
