Hookup of the control module was the same as that removed. Hand held controller mounting bracket was not the same as that removed. The OEM mounted over the wall switch. I mounted this one over the wall switch using one screw and two face tape on the wall switch (see photo). I did not want to dill holes in the wall.Works with and dims an LED bulb.Controller is a little flaky dimming, not any different than the original just flaky. (You know Morris Code to dim). In a few years as the resistive buttons oxidize I’l be wiggling the buttons pressing hard to get the fan/light/dimming to work. We had to get the number off the receiver in the fan canopy but with that we were able to order a new remote. Much less expensive than buying both. We have this one on the included holder.
