Review: Great plug-and-play bass knob - I bought this to add on to my alpine subwoofer and amp after the old remote I had from a separate install wasn't working. It immediately worked after plugging in and allows me to control the full range of the sub from the driver's seat. My previous remote would only turn it up to full volume and back it down 50% when all the way down, so it was a big improvement to be able to fully mute the sub at any given time with this one. It's somewhat expensive, but if bass control is important to you (as it should be), it's worth spending the money on Alpine quality.

A: I purchased this about a month ago. It Did Come With A cable

**Q: Is this works with alpine pwd-x5?**
A: I did not install it to my system.  So I can not give you a good answer.  Good luck.

**Q: Will this work with a kicker zx m700.5 amp?**
A: i would not take a chance i find that most all those bass knobs work with just their brands kicker to kicker , alpine to alpine jl to jl etc
