It can be used on the highway when a snow storm in blowing. I have lived in Northern Virginia and in Maryland and have used this Rain-X product and am very pleased with its performance. I think the price in quite reasionable. I always start looking for it May when winter products do on sale and have found it priced in the neighborhood if $40.00.
