Nice touches - a mario zip, mario designs inside & out.I was looking for a case to fit a new 3dsXL + its Hori Duraflexi TPU cover - and this case does not fit the bill.I thought it would as it is supposed to take a dsiXL. (no measurements on site, nor on the packaging, so couldn't check before buying.The original 3dsXL (with no cover attached) fits well, neat but not too tight.The pocket where the console is held is padded on the outer side (presumably to protect it & the games from damaging one another). The back of the pocket isn't padded, you only have the protection of the outer card of the case.Its good but not brilliant.I've always used the amazonbasics case for carrying the 3dsxl & the new 3dsXL (+ a TPU cover) but currently it is unavailable.
