Review: I bought this hoping to use it on a 40v Ryobi straight shaft trimmer. I learned after two heads that it is just too heavy and my St. Augustine grass too tough. It was under powered and just didn’t work with that combo. I switched to a 25cc gas Ryobi, and it worked much better. Even on the gas trimmer I had to let it spin up to max speed and it would bog down as it got deeper into the grass and soil. As I learned a technique for using it, it got quicker and cutting took me less than 30 seconds per head. I ended up letting it spin up to max speed, and then if it started bogging down would lift the head a little and let it spin up again before lowering it again. The product itself is excellent. Seriously heavy duty. Just don’t expect it to work well with an underpowered trimmer on difficult grass like st. Augustine. ## Features - POWERTRIM CUTTING BLADE – PowerTrim Pro Series 8” diameter cutting blade. Trimmer head designed to fit most straight shaft power trimmer brands.
