Protects the display (pretty much the only weak point of the 5600 series watches) and adds a cool look to an already-great watch with no real downsides. I've been using this product for about nine months now as a full-time EMT as well as wearing it on many of my off days, and there is no damage at all to the bars (no dents or bending). The finish is still jet black with no scratches, chips, or wear. The steel seems to be of a high quality, and you will notice that it is very rigid. I have a decent amount of arm hair, and these bars don't pull at all. If you are planning on ever taking these bars off, be warned that it will cause four shiny indentations around the bezel where the steel bars have been pressed into the softer bezel material, but this isn't a problem if you plan on keeping the bars on forever.Overall, I am highly satisfied.
