It is light in weight, feels good with a medium size. I have a small head (21.5 Inches) and the Medium is a perfect snug fit. The small would have been too tight. Love the color and its water resistant for the most part. It prevents sweat from running down your face - due to a good sweat band. It can be crushed down for storage and pop back to size with no issues. It holds well when hiking through the wilderness, as it does not flap or move in any strange way. The Bronco blocks the sun completely (50+ UV Protection) (as I hike 7 to 10 hours at a time); never heating up in an uncomfortable way - breathes well and looks good while you're on your expedition. It's literally been with me through just about everything for almost a decade of my life now. After 9 plus years of being worn daily, beaten up, stuffed into my work bag, thrown around, hiked in, camped in, tossed in the trunk, rained on, beaten up by the florida sun, and tossed in the sand at the beach, it still looks almost as good as it did when I got it new. This hat has taken some serious abuse over the last decade. I clean it about once a year with some saddle soap and tada, it always comes out looking fantastic. If your thinking about buying this hat, stop thinking and do it. It's an incredibly durable hat that can hold up to a decade of daily wear and still look good. The pics were taken right before I wrote this update.Original review from 2013:Got it in my size which is medium and it fit like a glove. Looks great, I get compliments all the time. The only objection I have is that my head does sweat like crazy when Im outdoors in the Florida sun for long periods. but that's not the hats fault, barmah sells cooler hats that are probably better suited for hiking/ fishing in the Florida heat and I will be getting one of those soon. overall its a high quality, sharp looking, every day wear hat that you wont be disappointed with. One suggestion would be to give it a light coat of mink oil if you plan on wearing it in frequent storms like we have here in Florida. The first time I wore it with my rain parka in a downpour, the water did soak through.
