I wear a life vest on the ocean and it's too hot to put a full rash guard on under the life vest just to get arm protection. This is AMAZING. I just used it today for the first time. The fit was loose, which I liked for mobility during paddling. Was cool as advertised. Kept the sun off. Dries quickly. And looks nice too if you like a looser fit, which I do. Highly recommend for this type of usage or with any bathing suit where you want shoulder and arm protection without adding sunscreen to the ocean ecosystem. There are about 2 inches exposed on my forearms. Can you make the sleeves longer? Another thing about the fabric is that even if I wash it with only whites, the color I becomes very dingy/gray after only a couple washings. Maybe some other light colors would solve this?
