It did a fantastic job, suction was great carpets weren’t to damp. The tank is easy to fill and the dirty water was easy as well. I used one tank of clean water per room. We have an 8x10 rug by our back door that gets a ton of traffic, and usually two passes has it looking good again. I vacuum first to pick up most of the dog hair, but the suction is great and the cleaner does collect whatever hair is left behind. It’s very easy to fill, empty and clean, and I usually only have to dump the dirty water tank once while cleaning an entire 8x10 rug. It’s also lightweight, easy to maneuver, has a good cord length and doesn’t take up a ton of space to store. I’ve had another BISSELL carpet cleaner in the past that gave us problems, so I was a little hesitant about buying another one, but this one has held up great.
