Nice dress with medium weight stretchy black poly fabric. Hugs every curve so make sure to wear spanx under! But lace does not stretch at all! I bought an XL and lace is tight on shoulders but workable. The rest of the dress needs to be taken in on sleeves( a little baggy and I have big arms) and shortened in sleeve length and floor length. I would fit best in a large but because the lace on top is tight I can not get a smaller size. I am 5'4" tall with a 40 X 32X 40 measurements and usually fit in a large or size 10/12. Good thing I ordered a size larger just to fit my chest size, but sad that I have to send out to be altered .
