After a warm wash and 30+ minutes in the dryer (and checking often) it shrunk down just right. It's exactly as expected and fits the same as my A2 Loyal gi. I LOVE THIS Gi!!!!!!!!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality gii with a strange fit *by A***1 on 11 April 2022* This gii looks very nice right out of the bag and has a good, premium, feel to it. Nice thick lapels on the top and the ripstop pants with reinforced knees feel both sturdy and light. I ordered an A3H (5'11" and 225-230#, typical weight trainer's build with a 34" waist and a bit of a belly). The top is tight across the shoulders and very tight under the arms, but the lower front wraps around to both sides of my waist. The pants are a great length, fit reasonably well in the thighs with plenty of room for movement, and sit right at the ankles. But, I think you could fit 2 of me at the waist. The draw string ends up with dual 10" tails when tied with a climbers' bow and double knotted. I've rolled in it a half-dozen times with no complaints from my training partners, and even when it is sweaty, it stays relatively light. I do get compliments on the colors (blue/gold). I have washed it frequently in cold water on a heavy soil cycle. I hang the jacket and dry the pants, but I don't seem to be getting anymore shrinkage at this point. maybe a cm or 2 in overall length from the first couple of washes. Overall, it's a good gii that would get 5 stars if the fit was more dialed for my body type.
